Budapest in the summer
I’ve been living in California for about 4 years now, and I start to forget how it is when summer starts in Budapest. Here, in Los Angeles the weather is pretty much equaled out throughout the year, so summer is not anything much different from any other time of the year. Actually June is pretty gloomy. But not in Budapest. After a long winter (and let’s face it every winter is pretty damn long and cold and never ending in Budapest) when the trees start to blossom (what a cliche) so do the people. They let out all that energy and love they’ve been holding to themselves during the cold months of winter. So the city is abuzz and out on the streets, in the park, at the restaurants, bars and discos.
Dating is not about several dinners, and your bank account, Hungarian girls are still into fun, and for you girls, the guys are not shy either.
I felt the urge of adding this little writing here, because I’m going to Budapest in exactly 25 days from today, and I cannot wait to be there again.
Oh, and let me just add that we have three new beautiful apartments. Since most of them are 85% booked up two months ahead, we added two that were 50% booked and one that is wide open, with every single day available.
